Oxford Policy Fellowship - Call for applications

6 February 2017

Applications for the next round of the Oxford Policy Fellowship are open. They will close on Monday 13 February 2017 at 12 noon GMT.

The Oxford Policy Fellowship, an initiative of Oxford Policy Management, gives legal professionals the opportunity to work within a government in Sub-Saharan Africa as a civil servant reporting to local managers.

Because the demand for Oxford Policy Fellows is led by host governments – rather than being imposed by an outside agency – Fellows’ positions are tailored to the host government’s specific need and context, meaning they are more likely to make a real impact. The programme has successfully completed its first year of postings and is looking to expand by six to ten additional Fellows.

The Fellowship is open to applicants of all nationalities with an undergraduate or graduate qualification in law, or otherwise a qualified lawyer. Applicants should have excellent academic qualifications and have completed their trainee-ship and/or have at least two years’ of relevant work experience. Ideal applicants will also have a Master’s degree in law, international development, political science, international relations or a related field.

Qualified individuals can read more about the programme, and apply here.

The deadline for applications is on Monday 13 February 2017 at 12 noon GMT.
